What a wonderful place! A beautiful Italian bakery downstairs, but we headed up the grand staircase to the restaurant upstairs for the most wonderful afternoon tea - Italian style! ...

Went on Saturday and booked last minute on Fork. Reservation bookings are possible until 22:30! The place is huge, with a downstairs for cafeteria and nibbles and food over the counter. The food looked amazing! The upstairs is used for the restaurant part. Ambience is elegant and warm. Service is quite fast. We ordered a glass of wine each, tagliatelle with ragu, calzone and pizza gorgonzola/truffles. As an Italian, I approve this restaurant. The tomato sauce in the pasta was tasty and sweet, and pizza had a lot of flavour. Love the mushrooms in the calzone. As a desert, we shared a torremisu (tiramisu tower) with a fantastic and tasty cream, and panna cotta. Overall we spent 40 each.

A perfect afternoon at Luci Dining Londonbuttery croissants, smooth coffee, and even smoother company. All very good. Sharing laughs and stories with Antonino, Sara, Giacomo from Sardiniaand L.J., they brought the good vibes. The staff made us feel right at home very welcoming, kind, and full of charm. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people leave you smiling. Grazie to everyone who made it so specialwe’ll definitely be. You are amazing

Amazing staff and food, came down because my names Luciano & everything was perfect from the food to the pastry’s and service i absolutely loved it. Also I can’t remember the names but the staff working on the 26th was superb they matched all of our needs even though it was super busy on the bank holiday in particular the manager I think who was a lady. The only thing that I would say is that the hot coffees are served quite just about warm which I wasn’t a fan of as after one sip there cold but other then that everything was amazing.

Pre-Theatre Delight at LUCI, Covent Garden Today’s pre-theatre outing, I found myself at LUCI in Covent Garden—a truly beautiful spot with an inviting atmosphere. Initially, I opted to sit upstairs in the restaurant, drawn in by the elegant ambiance and soft lighting. However, I soon decided to move downstairs to the bakery, where the air was filled with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods. The bakery area had a charming, relaxed vibe, and the display was brimming with tempting options. Though I wanted just a little something to tide me over before the show, I still craved something satisfying and fresh. I settled on the beetroot and goat’s cheese salad—vibrant, earthy beets paired perfectly with creamy, tangy cheese. It was light yet deliciously fulfilling. Of course, I couldn’t resist finishing off with one of their pistachio cream croissants. Flaky, buttery, and generously filled with smooth, nutty cream, it was pure indulgence—an absolute must-try. Whether you’re after a full meal (upstairs) or just a quick bite, LUCI’s bakery downstairs is an ideal pre-theatre stop, offering quality ingredients and plenty of options to satisfy any craving.

My visit to Luci in Covent Garden was an absolute pleasure, and these photos only scratch the surface of the wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an enticing display of freshly baked pastries and tempting gelato. The "Pane all'uvetta" (raisin bread) looked incredibly inviting under its glass dome – perfectly golden and clearly made with care, priced at a reasonable 3.75. I also spotted some delicious-looking chocolate swirl pastries, promising a delightful treat for any sweet tooth. And the coffee! The latte art on my drink was simply stunning, a true sign of a skilled barista who cares about presentation as much as taste. It was the perfect complement to the pastries. Beyond the baked goods, their gelato selection is fantastic. I saw a variety of tempting flavors like Pistachio and Ferrero Rocher Gelato, alongside classic options. The large jar of mini croissants next to the gelato display was also a charming touch, suggesting even more delightful options for a quick bite. Luci offers a truly authentic Italian experience right in the heart of London. The quality of the food and drinks, combined with the inviting atmosphere, makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings!

I’ve been to Luci in Covent Garden twice this week, and each time was a great experience. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Italian food is high quality, and the prices are good as well. But what truly made the difference for me was Petra a young girl who helped me choose what to order when I was feeling unsure. She was patient, cheerful, and professional. A big thank you to her for making my visit even more enjoyable!
